Dundee graffiti discussion on Radio Scotland

Have a listen. Full of the usual cliched nonsense by the callers but ........

The discussion was raised due to this article being published in a local newspaper.

A forward thinking council?

Legal wall space to be provided in Perth.

Hats off to them for being realistic in their approach.

Maybe others should take note.

Some things never change............

A little scan from this weeks Glaswegian newspaper. Not quite sure why they have decided that the "eyesore" section should be 10 times the size of the positive side of graff in the report to the left hand side but i'll be sure to ask them. Will post up the reply - if i get one.

Small section of the wall from Meeting of Styles this year on The Peace Line, Shankhill, Belfast.
Weird to be painting in an area and on a surface with so much significance.
It seemed like already the graffiti had become a small part of the story of the wall as the taxi drivers had begun to incorporate it in their tour guide speel as they ship car loads of tourists to and fro all day long.
Scotland represeted by Smug, Gaz Mac & Lyken painting alongside, Waf & Tesda from Belgium.
